John O’Connell High School

Buhler Commercial proudly completed a comprehensive renovation project for the San Francisco Unified School District at John O’Connell Technical High School, revitalizing key areas of the campus. The project focused on replacing the damaged gymnasium’s full wood sport flooring and underlayment, along with grout injection repairs extending six feet up the perimeter walls for added stability. Additionally, our team performed crucial repairs to the modified bitumen roof deck in the east wing adjacent to the gym. The project also involved improving drainage in the interior courtyard with the installation of new trench drains and a tie-in to the existing storm drain system. Further upgrades included the replacement of expansion joint covers over the main atrium and essential hazardous material abatement. This project showcases our expertise in delivering safe, high-quality renovations that enhance the functionality and safety of school facilities.
